Major action of Haridwar Sidkul police on illegal stock of liquor, stock of liquor recovered, estimated price close to 06 lakhs

Haridwar:Thana Sidkul On the information given by the informer regarding illegal storage of English liquor at a different place, the police team raided the concerned place/shop on the instructions of SSP Ajai Singh and recovered a large quantity of English liquor and beer from the spot on 17.06.23. When the liquor was recovered from the shutter open shop at Tirahe near Badi Anneki garden, shop owner Mukesh son of fake Ram, resident of Badi Aneki present on the spot said that the said liquor was from Aurangabad English Wine Shop and the licensee of the said wine shop, Madhu Sharma, resident of Jagjitpur Kankhal, partner. Trivendra Singh Rawat was called on the spot. A list of liquor was prepared by the police team present on the spot after Trivendra Rawat could not present any document regarding storage. A total of 165 cases of English liquor and beer of different brands were brought to Police Station Sidkul from security point of view. Trivendra Singh was not able to submit documents related to storage even after giving additional time, a case was registered against Trivendra Singh Rawat in the relevant sections of Police Station Sidkul and Excise Act.
